Face Mask for Dry Skin

Dull and dry skin can give a worn out appearance to your skin and also make you look older compared to your age. If you have excessive dryness, it may cause irreversible damage to your skin turning it scaly and dark. Examples of Organic Face Masks for Dry Skin

  1. Coconut and honey mask

Coconut oil is very rich in saturated fats which can moisturize and nourish your skin without making it greasy or oily. It also has antimicrobial features which control and prevent the breakout of acne. On the other hand, honey has strong antibacterial features which can hydrate your skin, locking the moisture inside so as to offer it a softer feel. Lavender oil has been known to have anti-inflammatory features which offer a good look to your skin.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
  • ¼ cup of honey
  • 2 or 3 cups of lavender oil

Method of preparation and application

  • Put the honey into a bowl, add the coconut oil and also add 3 drops of lavender oil.

Yogurt can soothe and nourish your dry skin. On the other hand honey assists in locking moisture and giving you a golden and warm glow to your face.

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas 1
  • tablespoon of honey
  • ¼ cup of yogurt

Method of preparation and application

  • Peel and mash the bananas and place them into a bowl
  • Add yogurt and honey to the mashed banana
  • Mix them well before you start applying this mixture on dry face
  • Use a brush to applying this mixture on your face
  • Leave it there for about 15 minutes
  • Wash your face with warm water

Aloe vera is one of the most commonly used herbs which has skin healing and antibacterial features. You can also heal some minor burns by using aloe vera. This mask works well in reducing scars, acne, and sunburns

  • 2 tablespoon of aloe vera
  • ¼ cup of milk cream

Method of application

  • Pour milk into a bowl and then add aloe vera
  • Mix them well.

  • Leave it there for about 30 minutes
  • Wash your face with warm water

  • 2 or 3 cups of Lavender oil
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 2 tablespoons of oatmeal powder
